We are pulling 3 cats from Waverly Animal Control today:

Cinnamon - 13-14 year old, male, beige, owner surrender

The 3 bottle fed kittens are almost ready for a foster home!

We just got a phone call about a kitten whose mom was killed.  The kitten needs to be bottle fed.  We are going to get the kitten, as we can't just let it die, but we have no where for it to go!!

URGENT foster needed for stafford terrier/lab mix

Tank is a 1 1/2 year old stafford terrier/lab he is a great dog to women.  He doesn't like men much nor male dogs.  I need a place for him to go so he can run and play.  He is great with me and my girl dogs, and he doesn't bother the cats inside.  He is having to stay in a kennel the majority of the time, and that isn't fair to him.  He runs after dark, but what kind of a life is that for him.  He is neutered, uptd on shots, heartworm tested, and completely housebroken.

FOSTER NEEDED before PAWS catches him!

Muppet has been living on the loose in a neighborhood; PAWS has been trying to catch him, but the neighbors like him & have been helping him out :)  We're guessing he is a shepherd / retriever / chow mix...purebred mutt.
He is very scared right now & needs someone who is patient & willing to work with him.  He is good with kids & other dogs, but he is a climber.  He did scratch a runner, but, they were running.  He is cautious, so he needs a relaxed meeting...but warms up quickly when he realizes you aren't going to try to take him to the pound!

FOSTER NEEDED for boxer mix

Daisy has to be out by tomorrow, April 20.  The judge has given permission for rescue to take her.  She bit someone, but ACO says she was scared & isn't aggressive in the least, just very very scared.  She is a boxer mix, about 2-2 & 1/2 years old, 40-50 pounds, & seems to be good with other dogs.

 

FOSTER NEEDED for shepherd / corgi mix & her 9 puppies

Update 4/30/11
Now that Cassie has had her 9 puppies, she & her babies need a foster home until they are weaned & adopted!  She is, obviously, being protective of her puppies, and her temporary foster cannot keep her any longer.

Cassie is probably half to three quarters way through her pregnancy.  She will need a foster for herself & puppies until she has them, they're 8 weeks old, & they & her are adopted...so we need a minimum 3 month commitment.
ACO says she a wonderful, sweet dog that she expects to be good with kids.
